Lightwell Inc. seeks a Senior Consultant in Dublin, OH (and other U.S. locations as needed).

Duties:

  • Interact with client business team, management team and other stake holders and aptly demonstrate Order Management and Configurator capability of the team.
  • Understand and meet business needs, review and recommend specialized technical design. Translate business needs and product vision to robust solution.
  • Work in a high-performance team environment - sharing innovative ideas and working collaboratively across teams to define and drive technical strategy and architectural direction for the Omnichannel technologies.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and training to Developers and Consultants. Formally mentor others who are assigned as mentees. Mentees may or may not be working on the same project.
  • Follow Lightwell methodology, including use of design patterns, code reviews and automated unit testing.
  • Contribute to Lightwell knowledge base through documentation. Recommend engineering best practices, including use of design patterns, code reviews and automated unit testing.
  • Participate in Design and Build of OMS modules - Order Capture, Order Processing, Order Promising and Fulfillment, Payment and Processing, Reverse Logistics.
  • Contribute through ideation, collaboration, and development to improve quality, efficiencies, processes, and/or time to market.
  • Document work in the appropriate collaboration area.
  • Responsible for maintaining and enhancing ecommerce order, quotation and opportunity management system built on proprietary IBM Sterling Commerce that is highly customized, java based Model-view-controller framework operating in an open source Apache Tomcat J2EE container executing on standard Linux platform.
  • Contribute and work hands on in all spheres of project from conceptualization, requirement gathering, fit gap analysis, design and development to production implementation and support.

Qualifications

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree Information Technology, Engineering, or other applicable field plus 4 years of experience.
  • Required experience must include:
    • 4 years of experience programming with Java/J2EE, JSP,Servlet,EJB, XML/JASON,XSLT,XSD,JMSWSDL,WADL
    • 3 years of experience with RDBMS, SQL and Web Services (SOAP/REST), and SOA
    • 3 years of experience with at least 2 of the following design patterns: MVC, Struts, Hibernate/iBatis, Spring
    • 3 years experience with source control tools (GIT or Subversion) and build tools (Ant or Maven)
    • 3 years experience configuring and deploying applications on jBoss application server (Apache Tomcat, Weblogic, or Websphere)
    • 3 years of experience with IBM Sterling Multi-Channel Fulfillment Solutions and with Sterling design, configuration, product extensions and complex integrations
    • 3 years of development/implementation experience with IBM Sterling Commerce Distributed Order Management and Global Inventory Visibility
    • 2 years of experience with customization/extension of Sterling Commerce API's, database, UIs, user exits, agents and building Web Services
    • 2 years of experience with OMS-related engagements
    • 2 years of database administration experience (Oracle, DB2/UDB, and SQL Server)

Domestic travel required as needed. Telecommuting allowed.
