B2B Integration Consultant Internship

Lightwell, a leading information technology firm headquartered in Columbus, OH with clients nationwide, has several immediate internship opportunities within our B2B Integration consulting practice.

 We are currently seeking candidates with the following skills for this PAID internship: 

  • Computer Science/Information Technology/Software programming track
  • Understanding and use of multiple operating systems (Windows, Linux, Unix)
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to interpret technical requirements
  • Experience with basic file transfer protocols (FTP, SFTP, AS2) is a plus
  • Good communication capabilities (well spoken, technical writing)
  • Self-starter, ability to learn on their own but still work as a team
  • Willingness to travel to clients outside of the Columbus area may be necessary 

Through this internship, candidates will be exposed to IBM’s integration solutions which focus on integrating suppliers with their customers through the use of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI). Candidates will participate as a team member on client engagements as well as work independently to meet project deadlines.

Interns will receive the necessary training to support the technology requirements during the course of the internship.  The internship hours can be flexible based upon classroom schedule although respect for a client’s working hours is important when engaged at a client location. 

Candidates may earn up to $15/hour based upon experience level at time of application. 

Upon the successful completion of the internship, candidates will have the opportunity to apply for a full time consulting position with Lightwell.
